VIP After-Hours Corporate Travel Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION

Beneficial Experience:

  • VIP High-End After-hours Corporate Travel Consulting Experience
  • High performance, proactive, solution focused with the highest level of attention to detail & accuracy, leaving no room for errors.
  • Provide a seamless service, handling any requests in full, often including an item where you exceed your client’s expectation.
  • Must be sales oriented as the position involves working towards targets; Commission and incentives are payable for sales achievements.

Client Relations

  • Ensure enquiries are actioned within 30min, you may request your teams support to achieve this goal.
  • Provide quality advice & relevant information to clients.
  • Listen to client’s needs; give options explaining why you’ve given each option, considering directness of routing, cost, and client preference.
  • Keep client confidentiality within The Travel Group
  • Visit your clients at least once every 6 months at their offices.

Systems Used:

  • Amadeus experience (can be cross-trained)
  • Outlook & Penguin (back-office system)

General Requirements:

  • Share product knowledge and information on fares/destinations.
  • Be open to constructive feedback.
  • Take ownership for general tasks and duties in the office.

  • Keeping accurate detail of travel arrangements.
  • Attend industry training, seminars and after work events as requested.
  • Adhere to The Travel Group ethics, values & culture.
  • Grow existing clients to their maximum, look for leads, referrals, and any opportunities for further growth.
  • Work efficiently to achieve both individual and team monthly sales goals.

Key Performance Requirements

  • Complete all quotes & the days invoicing before leaving the office for the day.
  • An understanding of basic mathematics with good writing skills including the ability to write business emails, reports, and memos.
  • Good oral skills with the ability to confidently handle one-on-one and small group situations.
  • A capacity to evaluate facts and information and make decisions, including analysing associated problems, based on those facts.
  • Extensive travel experience.
  • Ability to perform and follow through tasks without direct supervision or being directed, including searching for relevant information, and logically overcoming unforeseen obstacles.
  • Efficiently balance the need to meet deadlines and work speedily under time pressures while maintaining high standards.
